Zero Waste Arlington has initiated multiple efforts to reduce waste at Town Day this year:

  • FREE Water Truck – Don’t forget your refillable water bottle and eliminate single-use plastic waste. Located at Academy Street.
  • Reduce Single-Use! reusable takeout container pilot program – eliminate single-use takeout container and utensil waste by signing up to dine with Zero Waste at one of 5 partner food vendors (Pie Palace, Man Made Chili, Thrive Juice Cafe, Fattoush, and Punjab).  Located at the corner of Mass. Ave and Pleasant Street.
  • Visit our booth! We’ll share tips for reducing single-use waste at home, recycling difficult items (including textiles and mattresses) and highlight local partner restaurants that are reducing dine-in and takeout waste. Located at Academy Street.

Town Day will take place on Saturday, September 23 from 10:30am – 4:30pm.
